Mat Maintenance

MAT-TEX® Mats are machine washable, so once your mat has collected all the dirt and mud that otherwise would be trodden through your home, you can put it straight in the washing machine – you can even tumble dry it.

The hard wearing tufts do the hard work for you. Genuine MAT-TEX® Mats will not fray or wear out in normal use. In fact, MAT-TEX® Mats actually improve with each wash, trapping even more wet mud and dirt.

Caring for your MAT-TEX® Mat

• Wash before use to maximise performance
• Machine or hand wash at 40ºC
• Tumble dry at low heat setting 40ºC or allow to dry naturally
• Do not add fabric conditioner
• Check your washing machine filter before and after washes
  to clear cotton lint.
• Large mats are heavy when wet.
  We recommend you check the load limit on your machine.

NEVER PLACE THE MAT ON A DAMP FLOOR!
